12 lucky schools win a share of £24,000
As you may have heard, our fantastic Spotter Competition came to an end on February 28th, 2021. We were so pleased to see so many of you take part and were blown away by the talented entries we received.
The competition asked people to safely spot and snap photos of our innovative traffic systems, for a chance to win a share of £24,000 for their nominated school. Lots of children also chose to submit their own artwork depicting our traffic light equipment. There were 12 prizes for schools, with four of the lucky entrants winning an extra £100 Amazon voucher for themselves too.
The prize aligns with government plans announced last Autumn, to encourage more families to get physically active as part of a wider plan to create safer streets for cycling and walking. Each school will receive a £2,000 voucher to spend at renowned British cycling manufacturer, Raleigh. Now, as we move into Spring and, hopefully, out of lockdown, these prizes couldn’t come at a better time!
Congratulations to all our winners!
