SRL’s Urban64® intelligent temporary system was the first standalone temporary traffic light solution to feature permanent technology, enabling site bespoke layouts for the safe flow of vehicles, cyclists and pedestrian traffic during construction phases.

It is the only intelligent temporary system to use MOVA (Microprocessor Optimised Vehicle Actuation), a sophisticated traffic control strategy, specifically designed to maximise operational efficiency of a junction.

Urban64® can replicate preceding permanent systems but because cabling is overhead it can be implemented quickly and safely whilst permanent equipment is removed, delivering cost certainty, and promoting traffic efficiency and safety. It also means layouts can be adjusted in line with the project development.

SRL’s team support schemes from initial concept to scheme completion - offering bespoke layout designs to suit the temporary works, full installation, maintenance, 24/7 call out, decommissioning, inspections and site visits.

Combine Urban64 with Smart Video & Sensing Ltd (‘SVS’) smartmicro® UMRR-11 Type 45 radar for the superior detection of vehicles and congestion at busy junctions. Urban64 is our most advanced, intelligent and semi-permanent temporary traffic management solution which can replicate permanent signals in both function and scalability. With MOVA technology, green times can be optimised to adapt quickly to heavy traffic flows and integrating SRL's UTMC can allow local councils to integrate Urban64 into the working order of the existing permanent system. 

Urban64 can include low-level cycle signals, filter and indicative arrives, walk-with-traffic pedestrian phases and leaving amber link. Furthermore, the scalability of Urban64 with it's extra height perception allows it to stand tall next to it's permanent counterparts and illuminated box signs give road-users greater visibility.

SRL Portable Traffic Light Signals are the ideal solution for quick and impromptu works or solutions for temporary roadworks/closures. Our Multiphase ADS is proven to reduce traffic queues by 50% and are perfect for quick set-up, movement and placement. 

SRL Temporary Traffic Signals offer a bridge between portable traffic lights and our Urban64 system. With the ability to integrate dual-aspect solar panels, this solution can provide a running time of 1 battery exchange per year. Bigger in scalability and longer running times make it perfect for haul route crossings.
